Job Description

As a Data Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data collection, collation, reconciliation, and uploading for clients and policies. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining good relations with corporate clients, third-party administrators, and insurance companies to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, report development, and presentation skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and reconciling client and policy information in the portal.
  • Preparing reports and providing insights based on large data sets using Excel tools.
  • Conducting quantitative/qualitative data analysis and making recommendations.
  • Intimating monthly data updates to insurers after quality control and calculation.
  • Following up with insurers for endorsement closures within agreed timelines.
  • Constructing forecasts, predictions, and recommendations based on existing policy terms.
  • Presenting reports to stakeholders, highlighting key issues, observations, or outcomes.
  • Mentoring team members and monitoring performance improvement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from any background, with General Insurance certifications an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in General Insurance industry (Insurance Company/Brokers/TPA).
  • Experience handling data management portals, preferably SAIBA.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and ability to work with large data sets.
