Job Overview

Senior Data Engineer(Lead)

This role involves designing, developing and optimizing ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala), AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory. The candidate should have around 6+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud computing data development.

  • The ideal candidate will work with structured and unstructured data to build scalable ingestion and transformation workflows across cloud platforms.
  • They will be responsible for building data lake and data warehouse solutions using AWS S3, Azure Data Lake,AWS Glue.
  • Collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and application developers is expected to support advanced analytics, reporting, and ML workflows.
  • The successful candidate will implement job orchestration, monitoring, and error handling for reliable pipeline execution.
  • Additionally, they will be responsible for maintenance and support of Data Pipeline, data load monitoring, data validation and quality checks, identifying and optimizing ingestion pipelines in consultation with Customer, L2/L3 Support, investigating Glue job failures and restart, fixing minor transformation logic or input data issues, resolving dependency failures in Glue workflows, tuning job configurations, impact analysis and RCA, and working under an 8x5 support model.

BTECH, BCA, MTECH,MCA,BSC,MSC are the required educational qualifications.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should possess skills in AWS Glue, ADF,ADB, Immediate Joiner.
