Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to spearhead the development of our data infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Design:
  • Design and optimize data pipelines using ETL/ELT workflows, cloud-based platforms, and big data ecosystems.
  • Data Platform Architecture:
  • Architect scalable data platforms using AWS services such as Redshift, Lambda, S3, and Athena, and leverage Spark, Kafka, and Hive for processing.
  • Data Governance:
  • Create robust data models, ensure compliance with GDPR/HIPAA regulations, and enforce security best practices.
  • Tech Lead:
  • Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with analysts and data scientists, and serve as a technical architect in solution delivery.
  • Query Optimization:
  • Optimize query performance, implement role-based access control (RBAC) and identity access management (IAM), and ensure disaster recovery and high availability standards.
Required Skills:
  • A strong proficiency in programming languages including Python, SQL, Java, and expertise in data modeling, governance, and compliance.
  • A proven track record in end-to-end project delivery and enterprise data integration.
  • Experience with leading-edge technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, StreamSets, DBT, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Hive, and HBase.
