Job Title: Internal Control Professional

Position Focus:
  • Conduct on-site internal control reviews to ensure timely implementation of control processes and corrective actions.
  • Undertake special projects to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization and automation.
  • Assess all areas of risks, and implement risk management strategies across functional areas.
  • Facilitate completion of mandatory reporting requirements such as Quarterly Attestation and Semi-Annual Balance Sheet Reviews.
Responsibilities:
  • Review accounting documents for compliance with US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Analyse and evaluate accounting documents for compliance purposes.
  • Review customer and supplier reserves/reserves accruals, tooling & EDD template, receivables, AR reserve, unbilled AR, white papers for policy/accounting deviations.
Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant with more than 8 years experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control role.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to perform Process Audit and Month close review independently.
  • Outstanding knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable with ability to work well with ambiguity.
  • Strong work ethic and track record of taking on additional responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in QAD and Hyperion highly preferred.
