Lead QA and Test Automation Strategist

The Lead QA and Test Automation Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing test automation strategies for backend systems, including Java Microservices APIs and cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement automated tests using various tools, with a focus on manual, automation, performance, and End-to-End testing.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Engineering team to deliver complex projects while interfacing with external teams.
  • Assess risk associated with new software implementations and review code of other team members through regular code reviews.
  • Triage, debug, and monitor issues, driving towards efficient solutions that meet complex business needs.
  • Represent and promote QA methodology across divisions and devise improvements to current procedures.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, preferably in the Healthcare or PBM industry.
  • Expertise in developing automated test cases using Cucumber framework and behavior-driven development (BDD).
  • Experience in Agile development methodology, DevOps, and test data management.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to mentor and train teams.
