Job Title: Automation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a skilled automation specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test automation suites using Playwright.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright Framework.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and identify testing needs.
    • Develop and execute test plans and cases to validate software functionality.
    • Identify, document, and track software defects.
    • Ensure implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous integration.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Playwright Framework: Strong proficiency in Playwright and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
    • CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
    • API Testing: Working knowledge of API testing, database testing (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and integration testing.
    • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and defect tracking tools like JIRA.

    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Familiarity with other testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in managing automation projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
