Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing large-scale infrastructure systems using Linux and software-defined networking">
  • Managing configuration management using tools like Ansible and Chef">
  • Implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.">
  • Managing cloud-native ecosystem and tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Envoy">
  • Managing containers & container orchestrators like Nomad, Kubernetes, etc.">
  • Managing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK">
  • Familiarity with primary cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure">
  • Observability and collaboration with dev teams to improve their observability systems">
  • SQL and NoSQL databases and basic cloud security">
