Project Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to assist our project management team. This role will provide hands-on experience in estimation, costing, budgeting, procurement, and site execution.

  • Assist in quantity take-off, estimation, and costing for civil, structural, and finishing works.
  • Support preparation of BOQs, project budgets, and cost comparisons using MS Excel.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based dashboards, cost-tracking reports, and project documentation.
  • Interpret and analyze AutoCAD drawings, architectural and structural plans.
  • Contribute to project schedules, progress monitoring, and site execution support.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, material tracking, and vendor evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and project specifications.
  • Participate in site visits, inspections, and project review meetings.

This internship provides hands-on training in Excel-based cost control, budgeting, and reporting tools. You will gain practical experience in interpretation of drawings and project planning, mentorship from experienced engineers and project managers, and skill development for a career in construction and infrastructure management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of estimation, costing, and budgeting practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (dashboards, formulas, reports).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, procurement, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
