Public Health Research Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Public Health Research Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality research and analysis in public health areas, including maternal and child health, immunization, family planning, and non-communicable diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead secondary research and insights on public health areas.
  • Database management and updating.
  • Knowledge of data management, analysis, and M&E activities.
  • Ability to lead research and MLE activities, including quantitative surveys and qualitative impact stories.
  • Plan, write, edit, review, and coordinate reports, presentations, dashboards, visualizations.
  • Develop and deploy strategic tools and frameworks for conducting primary, secondary research, data collection, and M&E.
  • Effectively collect, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Track latest developments, trends, and literature, identify relevant sources, present data succinctly.
  • Exhibit flexibility in moving across development and preparation of multiple deliverables.

We seek candidates who enjoy complex problem-solving and collaboratively creating transformational change in healthcare and disease research. Candidates should have:

  • 7-12 years of experience in public health research in India and globally.
  • Masters/ MA in Public Health.
  • Excellent consulting, research, MLE, data analysis, and writing capabilities.
  • Experience with strategy execution, measurement, review, and adjustment.
  • Excellent oral, facilitation, and written communication skills.
  • Past experience of handling a team.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative knowledge.
  • Knowledge of analytical and visualization software.
  • Ability to conduct literature reviews and systematic reviews.
  • Independence and ability to work effectively across language, culture, and distance barriers.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
