Health Economics

We are seeking a Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR) professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the scientific and methodological aspects of observational database analytics and evidence synthesis with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field, and experience in RWE studies and analyses using SAS and SQL. They will also possess excellent communication skills, being able to convey complex research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Lead the development of RWE databases studies/analyses, including objectives, study design, data source identification, protocol development, statistical analysis, and interpretation.
• Conduct RWE studies/analyses by executing SAS-based analyses on claim database, EMR database, registry data, and public used files.
• Generate high-quality deliverables, such as data tables, graphs, charts, and study reports.
• Develop mock table shells, prepare specifications, and ensure quality control on analyses conducted by junior programmers.
• Effectively manage and track all studies/analyses to ensure timely completion and stakeholder awareness.
• Communicate research findings internally and externally, as appropriate.
• Stay up-to-date with latest methodologies and analytical techniques.
• Contribute to the continuing education of relevant line functions on RWE methodologies.

• Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics and outcomes research, health policy, or similar field.
• At least 2 years' hands-on experience in observational data studies.
• Professional programming skills with SAS and SQL, with R and/or Python programming experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and study management skills.
• Ability to take detailed HE&OR study results and communicate them clearly to internal cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, environment.
• Ability to proactively identify new opportunities and solutions.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
