Lead Developer of a High-GMV B2B Platform

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global team as a Staff/Principal Engineer and be part of shaping the future of hotel distribution. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving system design, building scalable systems, and leading multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and hands-on experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and performance optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical projects and contribute to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a developer who can code, architect, and lead by example. The successful candidate will:

  1. Drive system design and platform architecture decisions
  2. Build scalable, resilient systems using Java (Spring Boot) and event-driven architectures
  3. Solve real-time, high-throughput challenges in search, pricing, and booking workflows
  4. Owning end-to-end delivery of critical initiatives from design to deployment
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8-12 years of backend development experience
  • Deep Java expertise (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
  • Distributed systems experience with event-driven architectures
  • NoSQL databases (ScyllaDB, MongoDB)
  • Performance optimization and latency tuning skills
  • Ownership mindset with proven track record of delivering mission-critical projects
