Asst. Architect

An architect plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring they are functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Their duties include consulting with clients, creating detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software, coordinating with engineers and contractors, managing project budgets, and conducting site visits to ensure projects adhere to the design and codes. Architects must balance creative vision with technical expertise, knowledge of building codes, and strong communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meeting with clients to understand their needs, requirements, and vision for the project.
• Design & Planning: Developing concepts and creating detailed architectural plans and drawings, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD and Revit.
• Technical Specifications: Preparing detailed specifications, material selections, and construction documents.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring designs comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Project Management: Managing project timelines and budgets, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals to integrate design elements and ensure project goals are met.
• Site Supervision: Visiting construction sites to monitor progress and ensure construction adheres to architectural plans and resolves any issues.
• Presentations & Reports: Preparing and presenting design proposals, reports, and applications to clients and stakeholders.
