Data Migration Consultant

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the migration of data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to business operations.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Data Cleansing and Transformation: Develop and implement data cleansing and transformation rules to ensure accurate and complete data migration.
  2. Staging and Loading: Design and execute staging processes to prepare data for loading into SAP S/4HANA, utilizing global template models and direct transfer methods.
  3. User-Defined Migration: Create and configure user-defined migration scripts to migrate complex data objects across various functional modules.
  4. Pre-Load and Post-Load Validation: Perform rigorous validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy before and after load.
  5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data migration issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.

Requirements:
  • 3+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in Data Conversion/Migration and Master Data Management with a focus on SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including functional teams, development teams, and client business teams.
  • SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP implemented business solutions, disparate and ancillary systems, and upstream/downstream effects.
  • Material Management: Expertise in Material Management including Configuration, Master and Transaction data, and Procurement scenarios.
  • Data Migration Tools: Proficiency in using staging tables, direct transfer in SAP S/4HANA legacy transfer migration cockpit (LTMC), and other data migration tools.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good Data Migration Skills: Strong understanding of data migration principles and methodologies.
  • S/4HANA Database Experience: Familiarity with the S/4HANA database and its features.
  • SAP Experience: Broad experience with SAP modules and their integration.
