About the Role

We are looking for a DLP Platform Migration Specialist who can lead and execute the migration of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to a modern technology platform. If you have expertise in DLP policy management, hands-on experience with security migrations, and a strong understanding of data security protocols this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end migration of DLP policies from the existing to the new platform.
  • Validate, map, and optimize data identification, classification, and monitoring rules.
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, and business stakeholders to align policies with compliance standards.
  • Perform testing, validation, and fine-tuning of DLP policies to minimize false positives and enhance detection.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Create detailed documentation & training materials for smooth adoption post-migration.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DLP policy management & implementation.
  • Proven exposure to DLP platform migrations (Symantec, McAfee, Digital Guardian, Forcepoint, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and protection frameworks.
  • Proficiency in DLP policy creation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Python).
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud-based DLP solutions (Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Workspace).
  • Knowledge of advanced DLP techniques – content inspection, behavioral analysis, ML-based detection.
