The Investment Specialists are responsible for providing expert advice, support, and guidance on best-in class investment products to clients and internal stakeholders, in particular for fixed income, equities, funds, and alternative investments. In their role as product experts, they generate recommendation lists, market opportunities, switch ideas and cover the after-sales for core holdings. Furthermore, they also drive sales initiatives and promote the respective instruments in the bank. Investment Specialists are front and client facing staff, supporting the delivery of exceptional client experience through product knowledge and expertise.

YOUR CHALLENGE
  • Provide expert advice, support, and guidance on investment products (fixed income, equities, funds, alternative investments) to clients and internal stakeholders such as relationship managers, assistants, account managers, and investment advisors
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of investment products and market trends within and across various asset classes and investment themes
  • Select and identify specific product ideas and generate recommendation lists
  • Write or contribute to the development of marketing materials, publications, and presentations related to investment products
  • Participate in client meetings delivering product knowhow and expertise to sophisticated end clients.
  • Drive sales and investment campaigns based on understanding client and stakeholder needs
  • Educate and train internal stakeholders on investment products and market trends to improve product knowledge and expertise within the organization
  • Support the organization in hosting client and/or internal events showcasing investment products and expertise
YOUR PROFILE
  • Profound knowledge and strong passion for financial markets and investments with a keen interest in staying up-to-date on market trends and product offerings
  • A team player with strong self-motivation, a service oriented personality and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to think critically and analytically with attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and product offerings
  • Experience in investment-related roles or relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA)
  • Higher educational and professional background with 5-years+ of relevant working experience
