The high-impact role demands a strong foundation in accounting and international financial reporting. It oversees end-to-end accounting and book closure activities across three geographies requiring a permanent commitment.

Job Description:

  • Accounting Strategy and Operations

  • Plan, implement, and oversee overall accounting strategy and day-to-day finance operations.

  • Manage core accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Reconciliation and Analysis

  • Handle reconciliations related to capital assets, trust accounts, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to generate timely and accurate financial statements and reports.

  • Reporting and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures while maintaining a deep understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

  • Drive timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures as per expectations.

  • Team Collaboration and Development

  • Collaborate with the entire finance team and management to align with departmental and organizational goals.

  • Train and advise team members on handling routine financial reporting and transactions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CA / CMA / ICWA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience or semi-qualified professionals with 8 - 9 years of relevant combined experience.

  • Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations and managing general ledger processes across multiple entities.

  • Solid understanding of Income Tax and GST provisions with practical application to day-to-day transactions.

  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership.

  • Proactive, smart, and self-motivated professional with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

  • Hands-on experience with ZOHO and Tally is essential.

  • Zoho certification required.

  • Comfortable and efficient in using AI tools for productivity enhancement.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
