Job Description:

This role involves participating in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within the Control Management functional area. The successful candidate will provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls.

Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management Consulting: Provide expert advice to the business on designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls.
  • Control Management: Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within the Control Management functional area.
  • Moderately Complex Programs: Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area.
Required Qualifications:
  • Risk Management Experience: 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher. Relevant certifications will be an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track-record for delivering results.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, able to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, good listener who embraces creative thinking and teamwork.
