About Vandana Global Ltd:


We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a General Manager - Financial Operations at Vandana Global Ltd. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily billing process, including bills payable and receivable, associated taxes, and miscellaneous bank transactions and cash bills.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor the processing of all incoming and outgoing transactions and ensure daily reporting.
  • Validate complete documentation for all transactions and approve payments or receipts on a timely basis.
  • Prepare and update all paperwork for each transaction in accordance with SOPs and designated timelines.
  • Oversee the preparation of the daily fund flow report, detailing movement of funds in and out of corporate accounts.
  • Validate reports for discrepancies and share with stakeholders.
  • Assess payment timelines for outbound transactions and plan bill passing schedules to optimize company utilization.
  • Oversee GST team workings, including data entry, validation & reconciliation, returns filing, GST payments, and litigation handling.
  • Ensure proper GST entries on all relevant platforms and validate.
  • Support the GST team in responding to inquiries, rulings, litigations, and court attendances.

Leadership and Team Management:



  • Lead a team of bill passing, collections, GST officers, and financial professionals for smooth management of company funds.
  • Assess payment advise and approve or provide comments accordingly.
  • Maintain records of transactions and prepare for TOC and other meetings.
  • Support VP Finance and Marketing with key decision making and act as second in command in their absence.

Requirements and Skills:


Desired Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) may be preferred.

Desired Experience:



  • 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on billing, accounts payable, and receivable, preferably in the steel or metals manufacturing industry.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.

Functional Skills:



  • Experience in managing and resolving disputes with customers, suppliers, and third parties.
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to quickly analyze financial data, identify trends, and make decisions.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant financial standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with accounting software, such as SAP, Tally, and GST portals.
