Senior Data Engineering Leadership Role

Our organization seeks an experienced Senior Data Engineering Lead to oversee the development of scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. This key leadership position requires a visionary who can architect, design, and manage large-scale data systems, while mentoring and inspiring a team of data engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and software teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data engineering processes and standards across the organization.
  • Support presales activities by contributing to RFPs and client engagements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Manage resource planning, project prioritization, and delivery timelines ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing data engineering teams.
  • Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Snowflake.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
