Asset Finance Domain Expert

Our organization seeks an experienced professional to fill a role that requires deep knowledge of the UK Asset Finance market.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leasing, hire purchase, and stage payment loans, as well as a strong understanding of business processes in the asset finance lifecycle.

  • Provide domain expertise for UK Asset Finance and support consulting engagements across originations, billing, collections, and settlements.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to translate functional requirements into IT test scenarios and review and validate test scenarios in collaboration with business SMEs.
  • Lead and support UAT/SIT phases, ensuring alignment with business expectations and terminology.
  • Support data migration, documentation workstreams, and reporting activities including GL concepts.
  • Serve as a conduit between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
  • Leverage tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and other requirements/test management platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4–14+ years of experience in Asset Finance, preferably in the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle and equipment financing (excluding capital assets like equity).
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end Asset Finance processes.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard terminologies and business workflows.
  • Exposure to testing methodologies, tools, and business-IT collaboration.
