Job Title: Digital Solutions Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data-centric distributed applications using cloud-based solutions.

Your primary focus will be on architecting, operating, and securing cloud-based solutions with a deep understanding of core disciplines like compute, networking, storage, security, databases, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive innovation in Data Engineering by designing reusable accelerators, blueprints, and libraries.
  • Lead technology teams, foster an innovative mindset, and enable fast-paced deliveries.
  • Stay adaptable to new technologies, learn quickly, and manage high ambiguity.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, attend architectural calls, and drive design discussions.
  • Present complex ideas to executives, IT Management, and developers.
  • Ensure end-to-end ownership of tasks, high-quality software development, and complete documentation.
  • Fulfill organizational responsibilities, share knowledge, and conduct technical training sessions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of design and implementation experience with large-scale data-centric distributed applications.
  • Professional experience architecting, operating cloud-based solutions, and good understanding of core disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, architecture patterns, and data warehousing.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Hive, Redshift, Snowflake, Teradata, and AWS services.
  • Thorough understanding of Big Data ecosystem technologies and competent tools.
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, and AWS certifications a plus.
