Job Title:

Lead Design Engineer-Material Handling

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing material handling systems for steel plants and power plants.

  • Design and develop material handling systems for steel plants and power plants.
  • Prepare process flow diagrams, schemes, and layouts for material handling systems.
  • Design and calculate conveyor belt systems, including profile drawings and general arrangement drawings.
  • Develop technical specifications for material handling equipment.
  • Procure and manage the procurement of material handling equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in design engineering. They should possess excellent technical knowledge of material handling equipment, including conveyors, silos, hoppers, vibrating feeders, screens, dust extraction systems, trippers, belt feeders, belt weighers, magnetic separators, and bucket elevators.

  • Technical knowledge of material handling equipment, including conveyors, silos, hoppers, vibrating feeders, screens, dust extraction systems, trippers, belt feeders, belt weighers, magnetic separators, and bucket elevators.
  • Functional knowledge of reclaimers, stackers, barge loaders, barge unloaders, truck loading/unloading stations, crushers, pneumatic conveying systems, diverters, slide gate valves, and lifting devices.
  • Software skills in Auto-Cad and MS-Office.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IS/CEMA/ISO).

Education and Experience:

A BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with 5 to 15 years of experience in design engineering.
