Role Summary

Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Quality Assurance Engineer.

  • This position involves performing thorough manual testing of AI-driven medical analysis tools to ensure accuracy and reliability in processing complex patient data.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with test case creation, execution, and defect management, as well as functional testing, user acceptance testing, and exploratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive test plans across web applications, focusing on user experience, data accuracy, and workflow validation. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to understand user workflows and identify critical testing scenarios. Additionally, you will conduct specialized testing of AI/ML outputs, including validation of NLP results, LLM responses, and data processing accuracy across diverse medical datasets.

  • You will work directly with physicians and legal teams to gather feedback and ensure our tools meet real-world quality standards.
  • You will help establish QA processes and documentation standards, contributing to our testing practices as we scale.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess 3+ years of manual QA experience with web applications, strong experience in functional testing, user acceptance testing, and exploratory testing, familiarity with web technologies, and experience with bug tracking and test management tools.

  • A strong understanding of AI/ML concepts or a willingness to learn is also essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail are required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to the above requirements, experience with automated testing frameworks or scripting for test automation, knowledge of API testing tools, and basic understanding of REST endpoints would be beneficial. A background in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms and web application architecture, would also be advantageous.
