Role Overview:

We're seeking a seasoned video editor to drive the creative vision of our high-fashion D2C sneaker brand.

This is a full-time, on-site role at our Hyderabad office where you'll report directly to the CMO and play a central role in shaping the brand's visual identity.

  • Taking bold, provocative creative ideas and elevating them into unforgettable visual stories.
  • Crafting edits that hook in seconds, hold attention, and finish with impact across formats (ads, campaigns, reels, shorts).

You will lead and mentor junior editors to build an in-house powerhouse team.

About the Role

As Senior Video Editor, your primary responsibility will be to translate scripts and creative briefs into high-impact films with emotion, style, and cultural bite. You will blend footage, music, SFX, motion graphics, and modern transitions into cinematic storytelling.

Your collaboration with directors, designers, and production teams will help push creative boundaries. You must maintain consistency of a sharp, disruptive brand identity across all edits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Script Translation & Creative Storytelling: Translate scripts and creative briefs into high-impact films with emotion, style, and cultural bite.
  • Edit Craftsmanship: Craft edits that hook in seconds, hold attention, and finish with impact across formats.
  • Motion Graphics & Audio Design: Blend footage, music, SFX, motion graphics, and modern transitions into cinematic storytelling.
  • Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with directors, designers, and production teams to push creative boundaries.
  • Brand Identity: Maintain consistency of a sharp, disruptive brand identity across all edits.

Qualifications:

  • A proven portfolio of cinematic, story-driven edits in fashion, lifestyle, culture, or high-end digital content.
  • Mastery of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects (motion graphics skills a strong plus).
  • A sharp taste in music, sound design, and pacing able to elevate footage through rhythm and audio choices.
  • A strong grasp of modern editing techniques (seamless transitions, visual effects, layered storytelling).
  • No formal degree requirement what matters is skill, taste, and cultural awareness.
  • An obsession with visual storytelling, cultural trends, and building work that people talk about.
