Job Title: Event Host and Presenter

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled event host and presenter to lead our events with enthusiasm, maintain audience engagement, and ensure smooth execution of activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Hosting and Presenting:
  • Host various university events, conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural functions, sports events, and other programs.
  • Deliver live commentary and engage with the audience to create a lively atmosphere.
  • Introduce speakers, dignitaries, and guests, ensuring smooth transitions between event segments.
  • Conduct interviews, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions when required.
  1. Audience Engagement:
  • Engage with the audience through interactive elements, ice-breakers, and informative segments.
  • Maintain energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor to ensure continuous audience engagement.
  • Ensure all event timings are adhered to and manage transitions between segments.
  1. Content Preparation:
  • Work closely with the event team to understand theme, objectives, and content of the event.
  • Prepare scripts, speeches, and presentations in alignment with the event's tone and message.
  • Research relevant topics and information to provide accurate and engaging content.
  1. Coordination with Organizers and Teams:
  • Collaborate with event coordinators, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the flow of the event.
  1. Brand Representation:
  • Represent the organization in a positive, professional, and articulate manner during public interactions.
  • Ensure that the organization's vision, values, and messages are consistently communicated during all events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an anchor, host, or presenter in a professional setting.
  • Prior experience in hosting educational or corporate events is preferred.
    • Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi is a plus).
    • Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Confident, dynamic, and energetic personality.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected situations during live events.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

      • Strong team player and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
      • Proactive in managing tasks and responsibilities.
