Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of security legal and regulatory requirements, including PCI, SOC, CSA STAR, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of managers and their teams for audit testing, facilitating the timely resolution of any audit findings, and working on compliance initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field and/or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC).
  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts, including Cloud hosting, containerization, encryption, networking, operating systems, databases, middleware, and applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies/environments, AWS or other related cloud experience is required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization, including senior management, and other stakeholders that influence the security and compliance posture.
