Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Scrap Trader to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the scrap metal industry and be able to develop new business opportunities.
About the Role
- Develop new prospective metal scrap yards, leveraging market knowledge and relationships to drive growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of major ferrous & non-ferrous scrap qualities, ensuring accurate pricing and negotiation strategies.
- Pricing of scrap, maintaining the target CNF and achieving monthly targets through effective supply chain management and logistics coordination.
- Manage scrap export operations, including fund management and client management, to ensure seamless execution.
- Collect market information and design strategies accordingly, staying ahead of the competition.
- Resolve quality issues timely, minimizing losses and maximizing profits.
- Generate periodic MIS reports for management review, providing valuable insights into operations.
- Be prepared to travel for Business Development purposes, representing the company at various forums and events.
- Display financial acumen, keeping abreast with changes in the trading environment and adapting strategies accordingly.
- Possess experience in trading Nonferrous and Ferrous Scrap, with a proven track record of success.
