Wind Turbine Foundation Design Expert

We are seeking a skilled Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Professional to design, analyze and optimize wind turbine generator foundations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design various types of WTG foundations, including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, and ribbed beam designs.
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations to ensure the integrity of the foundations under different conditions.
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, bills of quantities (BOQs), drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, including BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and others.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, balance of plant (BoP), electrical, and construction team services teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies and identify risks to implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures.
  • Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the Power and Utilities sector, focusing on renewable energy foundations.
  • Technical skills in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, and PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
