About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in overseeing various aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain component specifications to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications for mechanical/electrical components, standardizing product specifications across the board.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, collaborating with design teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate bill of materials (BOMs), datasheets, and 3D models to guarantee specification adherence.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is key; work closely with engineering, sourcing, quality, and production teams to achieve common goals.
  • Interface with suppliers to obtain technical data and ensure specification compliance.
  • Component standardization efforts are supported to reduce part proliferation.
  • Maintain component libraries in PLM or ERP systems.
  • Ensure specifications meet relevant international standards, such as ISO, RoHS, and REACH.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation in internal systems.
  • Handle engineering change requests (ECRs) and change orders (ECOs).
  • Update and communicate specification changes across departments.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) processes by participating in design and review of new components.
  • Help qualify new suppliers based on their technical specification capability.
