We are seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to lead our team. This is a key position requiring an experienced professional with expertise in process development and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the development of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences processes. They must be able to perform complex engineering calculations, prepare technical documents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Performing detailed engineering work, including process design, simulation, and optimization
  • Preparing data sheets, line sizing, and relief load calculations
  • Leading Hazop and PHA Reviews to ensure safety and consistency
  • Reviewing and approving all aspects of design and construction for consistency and safety

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 18-20 years of experience in process departments of consultancy organizations or technical services departments of Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Lifesciences.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in process development and implementation
  • Expertise in process engineering calculations, including heat & mass balance, utility sizing, and equipment selection
  • Strong knowledge of layout designing, area classification, man material flow concepts, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with simulation software such as HYSYS and ASPEN
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
