Job Title: Product Manager - Financial Crime

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee the management of Transaction Monitoring tools and mitigate financial crime risk. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in agile methodologies.

  • Postgraduate degree in Management/Statistics/Mathematics or Graduate degree in Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in Transaction Monitoring with at least 5 years focused on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience as a Product Owner to manage Transaction Monitoring tools is essential.
  • Experience in Project Management skills and presentation skills is also essential.
  • Certification from the ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management is an added advantage.
  • Languages: English

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Transaction Monitoring tools to mitigate financial crime risk.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for Transaction Monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and deployment.
  • Identify and prioritize business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
  • Expertise in creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau
  • Experience in integrating TM systems with core banking platforms and data warehouses with familiarity of cloud platforms for scalable TM solutions.

  • ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent
