Job Title: Meat Production Manager
About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Production Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our butcher shop.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meat Production: Ensure the efficient and effective production of all meat products, adhering to company standards and quality control procedures.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of butchers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering stock as necessary to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Cost Control: Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource allocation.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit regular reports on production volumes, costs, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
