Job Title: Print Production Manager

 

Print Production Management Overview:

This is a challenging role that involves overseeing the day-to-day execution of print projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving on-time deliverables through effective project management.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of work tasks.
  • Adhere to established processes and policies in delivering high-quality prints.
  • Provide technical support and advice to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Partner with artwork studios and printers to drive quality prints and maintain consistency across projects.
  • Support clients during the design phase, reviewing artwork and identifying potential risks.
  • Lead conversations with stakeholders regarding color assessment and print quality.
  • Develop and implement project timelines, ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines.
  • Manage color standards and arrange logistics for print delivery.
  • Take initiative to proactively resolve challenges and improve processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of progressive print production experience or equivalent education.
  • Client-facing experience and prior experience in project/account management.
  • Familiarity with color management and separation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of various print methods (e.g., offset, flexo, or gravure).
  • Excellent analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Able to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and external clients or vendors.
  • Able to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Able to work with and influence peers and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
