Job Description
The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist/Quality Systems Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This involves planning and executing internal audits, external audits, supplier audits, and ensuring the closure of all non-conformances identified in the system.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations during shifts and handle related matters using company resources in line with the Health and Safety policy.
• Establish and maintain Standards & System (including Integrated Management System (IMS), API Standards, BIS Standards) in the plant and coordinate surveillance/recertify audit with certifying bodies.
• Plan and execute internal audits, external audits, supplier audits, and ensure the closure of all non-conformances identified in the system.
• Work with the development team to establish new customer requirements and update process & product quality procedures accordingly during APQP stage.
• Drive key projects on the shop floor to improve quality assurance activities.
• Modify and introduce procedures and work instructions as per newly revised standards, customer specifications, and process validation results.
• Handle customer complaints with the cross-functional team, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and analyze customer complaints through 8D Reports.
• Conduct internal audits (QMS, process & product audit) through an automotive process approach to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements and suggest OFI for improvements.
• Prepare, review, and control welding procedure specifications, procedure qualification records, and welder performance qualification records in accordance with ASME section IX, EN, and ISO Standards for various cast steel grades in SMAW process.
• Conduct sub-contractor & supplier qualification audits and regularly monitor their performance.
• Monitor process quality by validation and verification using Statistical techniques.
• Measure and monitor the process of poor quality.
• Provide training to employees/ workers in IMS, 7QC Tools, handling customer complaints, preparing Quality reports, welding procedures & records, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Educational Qualification & Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering with a minimum 12 years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing Companies.
• Knowledge on Quality, Health, Safety & Management System.
• Experience in Customer Quality and handling issues/complaints related to quality at customer end (at customer line as well as in the field).
• Proficiency in inspection techniques, gages, MSA.
• Good knowledge of quality tools and techniques and ability to address emerging issues with speed and efficiency.
• Hands-on experience in developing PFMEAs, risk mitigation plans, and Control plans.
• Ability to handle Audits independently.
• Computer literacy.
