Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate risk factors associated with businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Customizing policies by adding/removing covers, riders, or endorsements.
  • Coordinating with underwriters at various insurance companies to obtain quotes and underwriting decisions.
  • Following up for approvals, reinsurance support (if required), and final underwriting clearance.
  • Verifying all required documents from clients (KYC, proposal forms, declarations, etc.).
  • Staying updated on underwriting norms, product circulars, and compliance requirements.
  • Explaining underwriting requirements, terms, exclusions, and conditions to clients.
  • Supporting the sales team by providing underwriting guidance and clarifications.
  • Addressing client queries related to risk approvals or policy issuance delays.

This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex underwriting concepts to clients. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and make informed decisions.
