Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our lending services division as a Loan Operations Specialist.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless loan servicing operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex loan documentation into actionable insights.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review commercial loan documentation
  • Identify key terms within the loan documentation
  • Enter loan details into the ACBS system of record, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc.
  • Understand and interpret the Bank's credit approval document and any applicable credit write-up
  • Understand complex loan structures and complex loan documentation, including large, syndicated transactions
  • Ability to translate key terms from commercial loan documentation (Credit Agreement, Note, etc.) into the ACBS system of record
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activity for the bank's direct/bilateral/syndicated loan portfolio, including advances, payments, rate changes, and ACBS system posting
  • Monitor and perform ACBS system input as needed for the timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes as directed by the agent bank (in case of syndicated loans)
  • Work directly with agent banks to balance and resolve any issues within the portfolio
  • Receive daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients and perform the necessary analysis and system input required
  • Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing
  • Review daily exception reports, determining the necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution
  • Perform any research requests and analyze loan documentation as part of that research
  • Respond to client inquiries around loan balance, rate information, loan statement questions, advance and payment inquiries
