Job Title: Senior Technical Leader

A senior technical leader will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable services. They will collaborate with product management to envision future features, plan product roadmaps, and define solution architectures that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing scalable services using data structures, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms.
  • Participating in design reviews and providing regular feedback on software engineering principles and modern infrastructure operations.
  • Driving continuous improvement by enhancing architectural standards and best practices within high-functioning software engineering teams.
  • Mentoring and training an engineering community on development best practices.
  • Developing a long-term strategy to achieve goals and making informed decisions about technical architecture and design.
  • Championing technology and architecture-related investments and advocating for their priority.
  • Implementing solutions that are high-quality, secure, and observable.
  • Building proof-of-concepts to validate approaches and assess emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of technical leadership experience.
  • Experience driving engineering best practices for high-functioning software engineering teams.
  • Passion and expertise for building large-scale back-end services and APIs.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms.
  • A strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern infrastructure operations.
  • Ability to build robust, high-scale, generic, and reusable solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
