Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Hedge Fund Analyst.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate reporting and operational efficiency for our hedge fund portfolios.

  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial calculations for hedge fund portfolios.
  • Perform reconciliation between financial reports, internal records, and external statements.
  • Carry out cash reconciliation across custodians, banks, and internal systems.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Assist in performance reporting and investor statements.
  • Coordinate with external parties to ensure accurate trade settlement and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data and performance metrics.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or professional certification is a plus).

  • 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations, preferably with exposure to financial calculations and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of financial software is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
