Visual Effects Mentor Wanted

We are seeking an experienced professional to mentor and direct our artists in the field of Visual Effects (VFX).

  • Provide Houdini software training for film and advertising needs, from basic to advanced levels.
  • Focus on teaching RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.
  • Teach effective Lookdev techniques to achieve convincing results for clients.
  • Develop solutions for integration between Houdini, Autodesk Maya, and Blender.
  • Enhance individual skills of in-house VFX Artists through efficient teaching.
  • Share experience as a VFX Artist in global cinema.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor in film, animation, or TV series.
  • Understanding of the overall VFX workflow and production process.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini.
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus.
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellent skills and creative approach.
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Artistic skills with high attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity.
  • Proficiency in English language.
