Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity to work as a modeler in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM). We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in BIM modeling, who can contribute to the development and implementation of BIM models for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • To agree on drawing strategies, types, and sizes of drawings with project engineers and suggest efficient methods of drawing production.
  • With over 8 years of experience in working on projects of varying sizes, both independently and as part of a team, you will be expected to lead and collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Experience in working on multiple projects across different sectors, including architecture and engineering, is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of both structural and architectural outlook disciplines is required.
  • Proficiency in Tekla software, including Steel/Concrete/Point cloud/Pre-cast/Cast in situ working models, is essential.
  • Develop and create building elements using structural drawings/PDFs or hand drafts in Tekla software.
  • Ability to work with 3D reinforcement models in Tekla structures and produce specifications/bar bending schedules is necessary.
  • Good understanding of Tekla Structures, particularly with the latest versions, allowing you to utilize standard functions without requiring senior support.
  • Setting up custom components where needed and collaborating with Model Managers from client-side teams is crucial.
  • Collaborating with small teams to execute projects efficiently.
  • Assisting CAD/BIM Manager in estimating and costing CAD/BIM projects based on client inputs.
  • Flexibility in adapting to various tools for creating detail/design drawings for structures depending on priority.
  • Understanding international standards and codes.
