Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • A strong technical background and an understanding of mobile apps in the e-commerce sector.
  • Experience in automating test cases using Appium/selenium with different Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android).
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of test automation frameworks and create a framework from scratch if needed.
  • Exposure to Azure, Amazon AWS, and/or other cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of deployment tools, build/release automation, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Flexibility with working hours, independence, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing test cases and applications under test.
  • Collaborating with the respective team to clarify test cases.
  • Setting up automation frameworks.
  • Configuring software, simulators, and physical devices for mobile automation.
  • Automating test cases.
  • Performing dry runs of scripts and delivering results.
  • Delivering automation scripts.
  • Preparing an automation handover document explaining how to use the automation framework.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and quality assurance.
