DevOps Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps professional with strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, scripting languages, configuration management tools, CI/CD concepts, containerization, orchestration platforms, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, version control systems, and IaC tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Setup, configure, and administer Linux servers to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Use scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and streamline DevOps processes.
  3. Implement and maintain infrastructure and application configurations using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  4. Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLabCI/CD, or CircleCI. Automate and optimise deployment processes.
  5. Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Manage deployments, scale systems, and ensure high availability.
  6. Provision, manage, and optimise resources on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  7. Monitor system and application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Set up alerts, analyse logs, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  8. Manage codebases with version control systems like Git. Implement branching, merging, conflict resolution, and integrate version control into the CI/CD pipeline.
  9. Utilise IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in a DevOps environment
