Database Expert Lead

The role of Database Expert Lead involves overseeing the team responsible for delivering database solutions.

This is a challenging and pivotal position in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an advanced understanding of Oracle database architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Specialize in Oracle RAC, focusing on its complex architecture across servers, OS, network, and storage layer.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Oracle Engineered systems, including Exadata, SSC box, and ExaCM.
  • Apply advanced SQL tuning skills to optimize query performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage.
  • Maintain expertise in HA features of Oracle database.
  • Understand Oracle database backup and recovery options.
  • Work effectively under pressure in production environments on various operating systems.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

Experience: 18+ Years

Domain experience: Prior working experience in Telecom or BFSI companies

Required Skills:

  • RAC (Installation, Upgradation, and Management)
  • Database backup and recovery
