**Product Engineering Leader Opportunity**

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineering Manager to lead the development of new and emerging product lines. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including senior leaders, product managers, developers, quality analysts, infrastructure specialists to establish a robust product engineering process.

The ideal candidate will be reasonably hands-on and able to take charge of end-to-end product engineering requirements for multiple product lines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with strategy, product, and business teams to create a product roadmap for the team and drive execution.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy the right tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to help product engineers work faster and solve technology problems more effectively.
  • Responsible for product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance within agreed time frames.
  • Own all non-functional requirements for products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 12-20 years of relevant experience in product development companies (PDCs).
  • Well-versed in Agile software development and management methods (user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.).
  • Adept at using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch if they meet requirements.
  • Experience with JavaScript-based front-end frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte and back-end frameworks like Node.js.
  • Hands-on and confident with TypeScript.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
