Deep Tech Investment Expert

We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our team as a Deep Tech Investment Expert.
This role involves sourcing and researching pioneering startups and founders across India's academic and research ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, research, and communication skills, with a mix of technical depth and financial acumen.
A degree in science, engineering, finance, economics, or business; candidates with dual exposure (e.g., engineering + MBA/finance) are strongly preferred.
Experience or interest in DeepTech sectors, including understanding TRL stages and commercial viability of research, is also desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a proactive, resourceful mindset and comfort working in unstructured, early-stage environments, are essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and evaluating DeepTech startups and their potential for growth.
- Building and maintaining relationships with technology incubators, accelerators, and other industry stakeholders.
- Conducting market landscaping, sector mapping, and pipeline development to stay ahead of the competition.
- Tracking trends in science-based innovation and breakthrough technologies.
