Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration is crucial for our organization. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Cloud Function, and Cloud Run.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Implementing data integration solutions to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources is also a key responsibility.
  • Optimizing and tuning data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our data infrastructure.
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes is vital for maintaining the accuracy and trustworthiness of our data.
  • Developing and maintaining data models, schemas, and metadata to support data analytics and reporting is a critical function.
  • Maintaining the health of our data pipelines by monitoring and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner is essential for minimizing disruptions to our data workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on GCP.
  • Proficiency in GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Cloud Function, and Cloud Run.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
