Data Engineering Role Overview

This position is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves working with complex data ingestion processes, leveraging expertise in Python or Java programming languages, and scripting best practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-based data pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Bigquery
  • Become proficient in ETL processes, including data warehousing concepts at an intermediate level
  • Develop expertise in database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarize yourself with cloud security measures and compliance requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, preferably with GCP
  • Expertise in Python or Java programming languages
  • Strong knowledge of GCP services and data warehousing concepts
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
