Job Overview:

The Wafer Fabrication Litho Department Leader/Director will oversee a team of engineers in managing lithography processes and equipment, providing technical guidance and fostering collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the team in troubleshooting process-related issues, resolving product quality issues through Root Cause Analysis.
  • Manage and mentor the team in handling non-conformance process issues and scraps disposition according to OCAP standards.
  • Deploy recipe management methodologies, understand Statistical Process Control principles, and implement new/improved processes through Design of Experiments.
  • Take data-driven decisions for process sustenance and continuous improvement, achieving process KPI targets.
  • Lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities.
  • Adept in resolving process-related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.
  • Coordinate and carry out process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization.
  • Handle new process baseline qualifications and manage audit collaborations with cross-functional teams to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives.
  • Work on new process developments with the team, establishing required process windows and suitable machine control set-ups.
  • Manage capital expenditures, prioritizing cost-efficiency and maximizing utilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, automation, and process enhancements.
  • Manage equipment-related risks, identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
  • Draft and release equipment PM procedures, CM guides, and OCAP fan-outs.
  • Maintain optimum equipment utilization, review Overall Equipment Effectiveness management, reduce tool downtime, and increase equipment throughput with safety and quality.
  • Liaise with equipment vendors and suppliers to develop new methods to achieve low-cost maintenance systems, reduce wastages, improve tool performance, and own module COO and Machine matching projects.
  • Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
  • Drive the team of technicians to participate in all Continuous Improvement Projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in lithography module handling and relevant processes.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control and design of experiments.
  • Knowledge of OCAP standards and ability to apply them in a practical setting.
  • Experience with equipment management and maintenance.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead change management efforts.
