Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage financial statements, tax returns, bookkeeping, and client communications across the UK and international markets. As a key member of our team, you will gain exceptional international exposure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file financial statements for companies under UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare working papers, client packs, reporting packs, etc., as per requirements.
  • Prepare and file corporate and personal tax returns.
  • liaise with clients in the UK and overseas via email, telephone calls, and video conference calls.
  • Prepare tax advice reports for clients spanning multiple jurisdictions, considering local and international taxes, accounting standards, legal issues, and the impact on company funding requirements.
  • Oversee and assist with processing all payments, including vendor invoices, individual reimbursements, payroll, and other accounts payable and receivables as required.
  • Deal with tax authorities for successful tax claims and investigations covering R&D tax credits, capital allowances, stamp taxes, VAT, etc.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • ACCA affiliate or ACCA aspirant pursuing professional level
  • Priority will be given to candidates with outstanding academic records and those who are first-time passouts.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and UK taxation
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
  • A deep interest in taxation and finance functions is desirable.
