Senior Project Finance Specialist

Lead the financial strategy for solar projects, collaborate with banks and financial institutions, and ensure timely financial closure to drive company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project financing activities for solar projects (Open Access, Rooftop, and Utility-scale).
- Develop detailed financial models including IRR, DSCR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis.
- Oversee debt raising processes – from preparing DPRs and loan applications to negotiations and disbursement.
- Cultivate relationships with banks, investors, and credit rating agencies to secure project financing.
- Negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, and financial covenants.
- Collaborate with internal teams for financial due diligence and risk assessment.
- Monitor cash flow, loan compliance, and repayment schedules for ongoing projects.
- Explore innovative financing structures such as leasing, hybrid, or green bonds to optimize project returns.
Qualifications & Skills:
- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / equivalent with strong financial background.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project finance, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record in debt raising, project financing, and financial closures.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, and risk analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
